The job holder is responsible to support the Contracts & Procurement Department manager (C&P Manager) for Procurement activities related to the procurement of long lead items CO2 storage infrastructure (referred as Project, including jackets, topsides, spur lines).
- Develop the procurement strategies for the Project with the Package Managers.
- Lead Procurement activities comprising of RFQ preparation, tender evaluation, clarifications, negotiations, award, and all post-award contract administration and expediting through to delivery and close-out of the purchase order.
- Ensure commercial and technical correspondence with vendors is efficiently handled.
- Ensure market trend investigation; request for information and benchmark activity within the industry is efficiently performed to ensure vendors & suppliers are quoting competitively and in line with the industry standard.
- Verifying that purchasing documents and procedures comply with the standards of the Project and the agreements with the partners.
- Preparation of documents for presentation to internal/external Committees and various approval committees.
- Ensure the proper follow up of the Purchase Orders. Anticipate and address any potential issues or deviations to Purchase Order requirements in order to minimize Project exposure (cost & schedule).
- Participate in vendor audits, reviewing records for accuracy and conformance to standards and purchase order requirements.
- Administrate legal issues related to delays, claims, disputes, litigations.
- Contribute to the Project reporting for the Contract & Procurement part
